Loctite Dri-Loc.
Loctite Dri-Loc is a pre-applied anaerobic thread locker film — dry to the touch on the shelf, inert in storage, and activated by thread engagement at assembly. Seven grades cover the full range of strength, temperature, substrate, and OEM specification requirements.

200 Yellow
High-strength, dry-to-touch pre-applied thread locker for high-vibration assemblies.
201 Yellow
High-strength, dry-to-touch pre-applied yellow thread locker for plated and bright-stock fasteners.
202 Green
Medium-strength, dry-to-touch pre-applied thread locker and sealant for assemblies that need vibration resistance and fluid sealing — without a permanent, service-proof bond.
203 Silver
Low-strength, dry-to-touch pre-applied thread locker and sealant for assemblies where the joint needs to be locked and sealed — but also accessible when the time comes.
204 Red
High-strength, dry-to-touch pre-applied thread locker for plated and stainless steel fasteners.
2045 Red
Medium-to-high-strength, fast-cure, dry-to-touch pre-applied thread locker for plated and stainless fasteners in high-temperature service.
STS Light Blue
Pre-applied straight thread sealant and medium-strength locker — one methacrylate ester film seals, locks, and installs with high lubricity in a single operation.
Dry on the shelf. Active on assembly. Locked at install.
Dri-Loc applies to the fastener thread as a dry film before the fastener ever reaches the assembly line. In storage and during handling, the film is inert — dry to the touch, dimensionally stable, compatible with automated feeding equipment. Thread engagement at assembly excludes air from the film and triggers the anaerobic cure. The cured resin fills all thread voids and locks the joint.
Selecting the right grade: strength, substrate, and temperature ceiling are the three primary decision variables. The color is the visual confirmation cue — yellow for high strength (200/201), red for high or medium-high strength (204/2045), green for medium (202), silver for low (203), and light blue for the straight thread sealant (STS). The individual product pages carry full specifications, OEM callouts, and PDF downloads for each grade.
