Yes, after we process the parts and dry the adhesive a rust preventive oil can be applied over the adhesive. With the Precote and ND products the oil is not removed before processing.

We are a service company. Our customers send us their fasteners or fittings, and we apply a thread locker or a sealant to the parts, eliminating the need for this to be done at the point of assembly.
Parts are returned to our customers in the same containers that they came in to us, UNLESS THE BOXES WERE DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT. We accept any type of containers Boxes, Pans, Tubs, Kegs, etc.
CHEMICAL ADHESIVES ACTIVATE UPON INSERTION INTO THE MATING PART. There is a specified cure time before the part will lock up. A Nylon Patch is a Mechanical Thread Locker (THREAD INTERFERENCE). NO CURE TIME IS REQUIRED. Each has its own PROS and CONS so we suggest reviewing the product data sheets AT WWW.BRADLEYGOC.COM or ask one of our technical personnel for assistance.
Mechanical Thread lockers such as the Bradley White Patch are capable of being reused UP TO 5 TIMES WITH REDUCED LOCKING UPON EACH INSERTION. The chemical lockers ARE DESIGNED FOR A SINGLE USE CHEMICALLY BUT MAY PROVIDE SOME MECHIANICAL LOCKING ON REPEATED INSERTION. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED THAT CHEMICAL THREAD LOCKERS BE REUSED.

Yes, All incoming material is assigned a tracking number at receipt. This tracking number identifies the shipment and lot number through out the processes. Multiple lot numbers of the same part are kept seperate by assigning them a unique tracking number.

Thread Lockers are used whenever there is a requirement that the joint remain together. Vibration and side shock can loosen a joint even with a suitable seating torque. Thread lockers prevent the joint from coming apart.

We have a dedicated sample department ready to run your prototype samples per your instructions. We may be able to run up to 100 pieces at no charge (Dependent on part size) for your evaluation. Coverage is usually specified as one to two lead threads uncoated, and one to one and a half times the diameter to be coated. This can vary depending on the size of the fastener, the type of the fastener AND the type of material being applied.
The BRADLEY GOUP OF COMPANIES builds all its own coating equiptment giving us the flexibility to run a greater variety of products. The most common methods of application are either flow coating, roll coating or by spray. Our accuracy is plus or minus ½ thread.
If it is necessary for the parts to be clean or free of oil in order to apply the thread locker, we WILL REMOVE THE oil apply the ADHESIVE, SEALANT OR NYLON and re-oil the parts. Additional wash charge may apply.
