Loctite Anti-Seize Pre-Applied.
1,200°F · Anti-Galling · Corrosion Protection · Thread Lubricant
Pre-applied thread lubricant and anti-seize for fasteners that must be removable after high-temperature service. Prevents galling, corrosion, and thread seizing to 1,200 degrees F — the highest temperature rating in the Bradley catalog. Dry to the touch. Applied by Bradley under ISO 9001:2015 in the same production process as Dri-Loc and Nylon Patch coatings.
Standard lead time 1–2 weeks — from receipt at our dock to coated parts back on yours. Rush accommodated on request. Customer pays inbound and outbound freight; F.O.B. St. Charles, IL.

When the fastener has to come back out — after 1,200 degrees F.
Loctite Anti-Seize is the pre-applied coating for fasteners that will be exposed to extreme heat and must remain removable after service. It is the functional inverse of a threadlocker: where Dri-Loc and Nylon Patch prevent loosening, anti-seize prevents seizing — so the fastener can be removed cleanly when the time comes.
At extreme temperatures, fasteners face a failure mode that threadlockers are not designed to address: the threads themselves can corrode, gall, or fuse to the mating surface — making removal impossible without damaging the fastener or the assembly. Exhaust manifold bolts, catalytic converter studs, turbocharger hardware, and industrial high-temperature assemblies all operate in this zone. Once a fastener has been seized at 800 or 1,000 degrees F for months or years of service, a penetrating oil and an impact wrench are not always sufficient.
Loctite Anti-Seize prevents this by placing a metallic lubricant film on the thread before the first installation. The film acts as a barrier between the thread and the mating surface, preventing direct metal-to-metal contact, galling during installation, and corrosive seizure during service. The film is dry to the touch on the fastener — no wet compound to deal with at the assembly station, no contamination of adjacent parts. The pre-applied format means the correct amount of anti-seize is on every fastener, every time, with no manual application step.
The 1,200 degree F rating covers the temperature range of most automotive exhaust systems, commercial vehicle exhaust, and the majority of high-temperature industrial applications. For context: the highest-temperature Dri-Loc threadlocker in the Bradley catalog (Dri-Loc 201 and 2045) tops out at 400 degrees F — anti-seize operates at three times that ceiling. Specified for exhaust manifold and catalytic converter bolts, this product is equally applicable to any threaded assembly in a high-heat, corrosion-prone, or dissimilar-metal environment where future serviceability is a design requirement.

PRODUCT
Loctite Pre-Applied Anti-SeizeGREY
Pre-applied anti-seize and thread lubricant from Loctite, applied to fasteners by Bradley. Functions opposite to a threadlocker — prevents corrosion and galling so fasteners remain removable after high-temperature service.
FUNCTION
Anti-Seize + Lubricant+ CORROSION PROTECTION
Three functions in one pre-applied coating: (1) Prevents metal-to-metal galling during installation. (2) Lubricates the thread for controlled installation torque. (3) Protects against corrosion and thread seizing during service, enabling removal later.
VS THREADLOCKERS
Opposite FunctionENABLES REMOVAL
This product is the functional opposite of a threadlocker. Threadlockers (Dri-Loc, Nylon Patch) resist removal. Anti-seize enables removal — it is specified specifically because the fastener must be taken out cleanly after exposure to high temperature, corrosion, or galling risk.
TEMPERATURE MAX
1,200°FEXTREME HIGH TEMP
Maximum service temperature of 1,200 degrees F — the highest-rated product in the Bradley catalog by a significant margin. Designed for exhaust systems, catalytic converters, turbocharger hardware, and other fasteners operating near combustion temperatures.
CHEMISTRY
Water-BasedDRY FILM
Water-based carrier that evaporates during application, leaving a dry metallic film on the thread surface. Dry to the touch on the fastener. The dry film format is safe for automated handling and feeding equipment.
COLOR
GreyMETALLIC
Grey color is characteristic of metal-particle-based anti-seize compounds (typically containing copper, nickel, or zinc particles). The color provides visual confirmation of anti-seize presence on the thread.
VIBRATION RESISTANCE
NoNOT A THREADLOCKER
Anti-seize is a lubricant and corrosion barrier — it is not rated for vibration resistance and does not provide locking force. For vibration-resistant thread locking, see the Dri-Loc or Nylon Patch product lines.
REUSABLE
YesFASTENER IS SERVICEABLE
The coated fastener can be removed and reinstalled. The anti-seize compound enables disassembly precisely because it does not cure into a permanent bond.
