White Nylon Patch.
Standard 90°/120° Coverage
A mechanical thread-locking patch fused directly into the fastener thread — no chemical film, no cure time, ready to use immediately. Provides medium-strength, vibration-resistant locking that holds up through repeated removal and reinstall. Resists fuels, hydraulic fluids, solvents, alcohols, and gasoline to 250°F. The standard 90°/120° coverage pattern for general-purpose mechanical locking.
Standard lead time 1–2 weeks — from receipt at our dock to coated parts back on yours. Rush accommodated on request. Customer pays inbound and outbound freight; F.O.B. St. Charles, IL.

A mechanical lock that’s ready the moment it’s made — and ready again every time it’s reinstalled.
The Bradley White Nylon Patch takes a different approach from every chemical thread locker in this catalog. Instead of a film that cures into a bond, a nylon material is fused directly into a pre-formed recess in the fastener thread. The mechanical interference between that patch and the mating thread is what generates the lock — no chemistry, no cure time, no waiting.
Because the locking mechanism is mechanical rather than chemical, the White Nylon Patch fastener is ready to use the moment it leaves the application process — there is no fixture time, no full-cure window, and no concern about shelf-life activation. The patch covers 90 to 120 degrees of the thread circumference, the standard coverage pattern for general-purpose locking applications. For full-circumference (360°) coverage, the Bradley 360° Nylon Patch grades provide a higher-engagement alternative.
Medium-strength, vibration-resistant locking comes from the interference fit itself — and that fit is a durable mechanical feature of the fastener, not a consumable. The fastener can be removed and reinstalled, and the locking function remains intact. This is the clearest distinction from the single-use chemical Dri-Loc grades elsewhere in the Bradley line: where a Dri-Loc film is consumed at install and requires reapplication after disassembly, the nylon patch keeps working.
The White Nylon Patch resists fuels, hydraulic fluids, most commercial solvents, alcohols, and gasoline up to 250°F continuous service — suitable for fluid-system fasteners and assemblies in automotive and industrial chemical environments. Because the patch is a fused solid material rather than a wet or tacky coating, fasteners feed normally through automated assembly equipment, including vibratory bowl feeders — an operational advantage that matters on high-volume production lines where coating tackiness can cause feed jams.

Why engineers reach for the White Nylon Patch
A mechanical alternative to chemical thread lockers — no cure time, no chemical exposure, and a fastener that locks and reuses every time it’s installed. The standard 90°/120° coverage pattern for general-purpose locking applications.

PRODUCT FAMILY
Bradley White Nylon Patch90° / 120°
Mechanical thread-locking patch — fundamentally different from the chemical film products elsewhere in the Bradley catalog. A nylon material is fused into a pre-formed recess in the fastener thread. White color, standard 90°/120° angular coverage pattern.
MECHANISM
Mechanical PatchNOT A CHEMICAL FILM
The nylon patch is fused directly into the thread profile — there is no liquid, film, or chemical reaction involved. The mechanical interference between the nylon patch and the mating thread is what generates the locking force.
STRENGTH RATING
MediumVIBRATION-RATED
Medium-strength mechanical lock. Resists loosening from vibration without requiring the break-loose torque levels associated with high-strength chemical lockers like Dri-Loc 200/204.
COVERAGE PATTERN
90° / 120°STANDARD
The patch covers 90 to 120 degrees of the thread circumference — the standard coverage pattern for general thread-locking applications. For full-circumference (360°) coverage, see the Bradley 360° Nylon Patch grades.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
Up to 250°FCONTINUOUS
Continuous-service ceiling to 250°F — lower than the 300°F+ ratings typical of chemical film products. For higher-temperature mechanical locking applications, see the Bradley High-Temp Red Nylon Patch.
CURE / READY TIME
None RequiredIMMEDIATE USE
No cure time, no oven step, no waiting period. The patch is mechanically ready to lock from the moment the fastener is manufactured — a key advantage over anaerobic and epoxy chemical lockers that require fixture or full-cure time before handling.
VIBRATION RESISTANCE
YesMECHANICAL INTERFERENCE
Resistance to vibration loosening comes from the mechanical interference fit between the nylon patch and the mating thread — not from a cured chemical bond. This mechanism is consistent across reinstalls.
REUSABILITY
YesSELF-LOCKING ON REINSTALL
Unlike chemical films that are consumed at install, the nylon patch is a durable mechanical feature of the fastener. The fastener can be removed and reinstalled with the locking function intact — a primary differentiator from single-use chemical Dri-Loc grades.
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Fuels · Hydraulic Fluids · Solvents+ ALCOHOLS, GASOLINE
Resistant to fuels, hydraulic fluids, most commercial solvents, alcohols, and gasoline — suitable for fluid-system fasteners and assemblies exposed to automotive and industrial chemical environments.
AUTOMATED FEED COMPATIBILITY
YesVIBRATORY BOWL FEEDERS
The fused nylon patch does not create the tackiness or transfer issues associated with wet chemical coatings. Fasteners feed normally through automated assembly equipment, including vibratory bowl feeders — a meaningful operational advantage on high-volume lines.
VISUAL ID
WhiteCOLOR-INSPECTABLE
White is the standard color for the 90°/120° coverage nylon patch. Distinguishes from the 360° Black and 360° Yellow coverage grades and from the High-Temp Red grade.
