593S Yellow.
Pre-applied microencapsulated epoxy thread locker for engine compartment and safety-critical fasteners. The microencapsulated adhesive remains completely dormant on the fastener in storage and handling. Thread engagement at assembly breaks the capsule walls, mixes the epoxy components, and initiates cure. High strength, vibration-resistant, rated from -65°F to 300°F.
Standard lead time 1–2 weeks — from receipt at our dock to coated parts back on yours. Rush accommodated on request. Customer pays inbound and outbound freight; F.O.B. St. Charles, IL.

Microencapsulated epoxy. Dormant until the threads engage.
ND Industries 593S is a pre-applied microencapsulated epoxy structural adhesive. Where standard anaerobic threadlockers cure by oxygen exclusion, the 593S uses a two-component epoxy system enclosed in microscopic capsules. The capsule walls are intact and the components are inert until thread engagement at assembly shears the walls, mixes the epoxy, and initiates room-temperature cure.
The microencapsulated delivery system provides advantages for specific assembly conditions and substrates where anaerobic cure can be inconsistent. The adhesive components remain completely dormant on the fastener in storage, shipping, and handling. At assembly, no preparation is required — the fastener is ready to install, the threads do the work, and the cure begins. The 72-hour full-cure time at room temperature (23°C) is consistent with standard structural adhesive scheduling in production environments.
593S is rated for engine compartment and safety-critical fastener applications — the specification language that defines its position within the ND Industries product line. High strength, vibration-resistant, and covering a -65°F to 300°F operating range. Applied by Bradley in the same pre-applied format as all other ND Industries grades, under ISO 9001:2015.
The yellow color is the visual identification marker. ND 593S is available in multiple colors — Blue and Yellow are both offered by Bradley. The color distinguishes this fastener from others in the production environment and can support OEM color-coding requirements or line-side inspection protocols. The chemistry, strength rating, and performance specifications are identical between Blue and Yellow.

PRODUCT
ND Microspheres 593SYELLOW
Pre-applied microencapsulated epoxy thread locker from ND Industries. Yellow color. Shares TDS and MSDS with 593S Blue — the only difference between the two grades is color.
CHEMISTRY
Microencapsulated EpoxyTOLUENE CARRIER
Two-component epoxy enclosed in microcapsules with toluene as the carrier solvent. Unlike anaerobic Dri-Loc grades, cure is not triggered by oxygen exclusion but by the mechanical shear of thread engagement breaking the capsule walls.
ACTIVATION
Thread EngagementCAPSULE SHEAR
When threads engage at assembly, shear forces break the capsule walls, mix the two epoxy components, and initiate room-temperature cure. No separate activator required. The adhesive is completely inert before this point.
STRENGTH RATING
HighENGINE/SAFETY RATED
High-strength classification consistent with engine compartment and safety-related fastener applications as specified in ND Industries documentation.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
-65°F to 300°FFULL OPERATING RANGE
Full operating range per the 593S TDS: -65°F to 300°F (-54°C to 150°C).
CURE TIME
72 HoursAT ROOM TEMP (23°C)
Full cure time of 72 hours at 23°C per the 593S TDS. Handling strength is achieved before full cure.
VIBRATION RESISTANCE
YesHIGH STRENGTH
Vibration resistance is a function of the cured epoxy structural bond strength. High-strength classification contributes to vibration-resistant joint performance.
REUSABILITY
NoSERVICEABLE JOINT
Not reusable. The cured joint is serviceable under sufficient breakaway torque (30 Nm on M10 per the TDS), but the adhesive is consumed on cure and cannot be reused after disassembly.
