Loctite Dri-Seal.
Dri-Seal is a pre-applied, water-based thread sealant that dries to a resilient, non-curing film. NSF approved for potable water. Rated to 350°F — 50 degrees above the Vibra-Seal family. Two viscosity grades: 513 (low viscosity, standard fits) and 513HV (high viscosity, gap-filling). Both grades seal tapered and straight threads on metal or plastic fittings and are reusable.
Two grades. Same NSF approval. Viscosity is the only decision.
Both Dri-Seal grades are NSF approved and rated to 350°F. The selection comes down to the thread fit: standard or tight threads take the low-viscosity 513; looser fits and larger annular gaps take the high-viscosity 513HV.

The 350°F thread sealant — NSF approved, non-curing, reusable.
Dri-Seal and Vibra-Seal are both pre-applied, water-based thread sealants applied by Bradley in the same production process. The key differences: Dri-Seal is rated to 350°F continuous (Vibra-Seal tops out at 300°F), and Dri-Seal is a pure thread sealant — it seals the thread against fluid migration without providing vibration-resistant locking. For assemblies near sustained heat sources where 300°F is not enough, Dri-Seal is the correct family.
The non-curing chemistry means the film remains flexible and the joint can be disassembled and reassembled without stripping the seal — important for gauges, sensors, and adjustment hardware that require periodic service access. NSF approval covers both grades for potable water applications.
