PVC plastisol pre-applied under the fastener head and heat-cured in production. On installation, the pad compresses against the mating surface like a gasket — eliminating under-head leaks, cushioning the joint, and resisting vibration. A different sealing mechanism from thread sealants: this seals the contact surface under the head, not the thread. Two grades: Black and White.

Sealing under the head — not on the thread.
Thread sealants (Vibra-Seal, Dri-Seal) address leakage through the threaded engagement. Plastisol addresses a different problem: leakage around the fastener head, at the contact surface between the bolt or screw head and the part being fastened. When a fastener is tightened, the plastisol pad compresses against the mating surface and conforms to minor surface imperfections, closing off the leak path without a separate sealing operation.
The pad also cushions the joint, absorbs vibration energy, reduces noise transmission, and electrically isolates dissimilar metals — four functions in one pre-applied coating. Applied by Bradley in the same production environment as all other pre-applied fastener coatings, under ISO 9001:2015.
