Pre-applied threadlocker and sealant for brass fittings — formulated to work on brass without corroding it.
Standard threadlockers and brass do not always get along.
Anaerobic threadlockers — the standard chemistry behind most pre-applied threadlocker films — can interact with copper ions in brass and copper alloys. The result can be inhibited cure, surface corrosion, or staining on the brass fitting. Brass-Loc uses a different mechanism: a microencapsulated activator that is released by thread engagement, avoiding the copper-ion interaction entirely.
The practical result: brass fittings for pressure gauges, sensors, pipe connections, brake systems, and hydraulic assemblies can be thread-locked and sealed in the same pre-applied format as steel fasteners, without the compatibility concern.
